Kia ora, my name is Alaniah but most people call me Lani.
I work full-time as one of the teachers in the Kowhai room, but started in the Mahoe room in August 2015. Before that I milked cows on the family farm and then did my placement in the Mahoe room for a Certificate in early childhood, where I then became a reliever. I live on a family farm in Tariki with my mum and dad, I love the outdoors, anything to do with animals and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy looking after children and have always been told that I’m a natural with them and that made me more confident that I could be an early childhood teacher. I look forward to watching your tamariki grow and learn everyday!
