My name is Katelyn, I am one of the teachers in the Kowhai Room ????
I first started at Inglewood Community Childcare Centre in 2011 where I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do some work experience through the Gateway programme at my High School. In 2012, I returned to ICC for gateway again, I also helped out as a kitchen/laundry hand as an after school job. I was then taken on as a reliever in 2013. Through my experience as a reliever I realised my passion and love for children and teaching in ECE. I am currently studying as a second year student to complete my three year degree as a qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
I live in Inglewood with my husband Joel. In my spare time I enjoy playing football(soccer), socialising with family and friends, listening to music and watching movies.
